Is Rihanna the unidentified woman allegedly beaten up by Chris Brown?
It seems like the two hottest names in R&B and pop music of today, Chris Brown and Rihanna are facing a very difficult times.
The whole story started on February 8 a few hours before the 51st Grammy Awards, when police said that Brown is under investigation for his involvement in an assault on an unidentified woman the night before the Grammys, which prompted his absence in the Grammy where he has nominations. He was supposed to perform that night and an alternate performance was hastily made to take his place. Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban, Boyz II Men and Al Green ended up performing last minute, luckily their performance was one of the most memorable that night.
Unexpectedly, Rihanna his long time girlfriend and also a Grammy nominee, didn’t showed up as well that night. Her camp said she was just trapped in a bad traffic somewhere.
But rumors were already circulating that Rihanna is the unidentified woman in the case. The two were last seen together in the pre-Grammy gala held at Clive Davis’ house the night before the Grammy; some say that they were already arguing when they left the party.
According to reports, the fighting is said to have taken place in the affluent Hancock Park neighborhood. There were screaming and the woman on the incident was left with “horrific” injuries, while Brown left the scene.
Hopefully, the woman was not Rihanna, because as of now the incident has already done great damage on the image of Chris Brown, affecting even his endorsements. If it was just a lover’s-quarrel-gone-mad story then definitely it was really heartbreaking to see the two sweet couple ending up in a bad situation.
For the meantime, Chris Brown was release after paying $50,000 bail after he turned himself at a Los Angeles police station.
