Hannah Montana superstar Miley Cyrus was mesmarizing in the 2008 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov 23) in Los Angeles. She arrived in a sparkling strapless gold and black draped mini dress and was wearing Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. The actress / singer performed “Fly on the Wall” during the ceremony.

She also posed for pictures backstage at the 2008 American Music Awards with her mother, Ashley Tisdale and Taylor Swift.

The young star also turned 16 years old on the same day. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one made it to the top in a few years. She has definitely got the talent.

On her album, Breakout, Miley Cyrus included a track titled “Wake Up America.” The song’s lyrics speak to becoming environmentally aware. Miley sings about being curious about the environment herself and urges listeners to act alongside her: “I’ll try if you will.”
