The highly respected news anchor Ces Drilon and 2 of his cameramen of ABS-CBN were kidnapped last June 8, 2008 in Sulu and were released after almost 10 days.

Until now the story is not yet finished and had become more unclear, with succeeding events such as the arrest of Mayor Isnaji and his son being suspected as the mastermind of the kidnapping and then the issues of the ransom money that was given. And nobody knows when and how will this story ends.

I am just wondering why would some people have to lie knowingly during some press interviews regarding the ransom money. They even emphasized that it was our governments policy not to give any ransom and then in the end the truth will just come out that there was indeed a ransom money.

Should they just shut up their mouth and avoid answering questions from the press when they know that they are just consciously lying to the people.

I guess I am just really so naive in believing everything I hear on the news, and expecting people to be truthful to what they are saying to the public. And - I am only realizing that after the kidnap of Ms. Drilon…

          Who doesn’t love Potchi and Frutos? Potchi is the strawberry cream flavored gummi candy in our local market… and it tastes really good, not only that, the name sounds good too. J I even named one of our dogs Potchi (sadly he died already) while Frutos is the fruit flavored soft chewy candy, all are manufactured by Columbia Int’l. Food Products Inc. at Navotas MM and are locally distributed all over the Philippines.             So what about these candies? Well I would just like to tell the manufacturers that they are really good in doing a concoction of yummy candies since 1937, they were even  awarded as No.1 Confectionary Company last 2004-2005… and these two are my favorites brands  But what irked me lately is their packaging… especially the Frutos. Try to buy a whole packed of these candies in your nearest supermarket. What you’ll notice is that some candies are not sealed properly. Some packs have candies that are too small and some do not even have any content at all.. and what’s gross is that some contents are obviously “latak” (in Filipino language).  But you are one lucky guy if you’ll get a single pack that had two candies on it. If you won’t store it in a tightly sealed bottle, obviously the ants in the neighborhood would have the time of their life hoarding all your candies.   So please, to the management, I’m calling your attention about this matter. Anyway you wouldn’t have stayed in the business for these long if your not concern to your products. So I’m pretty sure that if by chance you’ll read this article, you’ll immediately take appropriate action upon it. Thank you. (by the way I wonder why you still do not have a site in the internet? You know, it can help you gather some feedbacks regarding your products) J
